WHMPHP or WHMreseller?

Well, if WHMreseller and WHMPHP offer the same features and WHMPHP requires more resources than WHMreseller then I will definitely use WHMreseller. However, WHMPHP website claims that WHMPHP is better than WHMreseller.

I just want to clarify this. WHMPHP does not require more resources. It was already proved that WHMReseller makes high load and make the system crap. The owner of WHMreseller was already described that it is for low end as well as low number of domain servers.

On the other hand, WHMPHP is tightly integrated to WHM and does more than WHMReseller. It doesn't create server load .

Many people prefer WHMPHP now. I've seen lots of comments at WHT forums :)

We are currently torn between using WHMPHP or WHMreseller for our master resellers. Personally I prefer WHMreseller, as it's within WHM and is easy to use. I don't really like WHMPHP, but apparently it's more secure, has automatic setup and more preferred in the industry. Can any one shed some light into the pros and cons of each? Which one would you guys recommend as the best choice for both us and our clients?

Old Topic but I figure I would weight in

WHMMasterReseller is what I would use based on experience. Also their is FamZoo I believe it is called I have read good reviews on

I used both - I know WHMPHP is easy to use. But I still like WHMreseller Bcz I think this more batter than WHMPHP! [Personal Opinion] :)

Here is a comparison : whmphp(dot)com/comparison.php.

Make sure that this comparison is on the official website of WHMPHP ;)

That is not a comparison with WHMReseller specifically - there are several features with an X that WHMReseller actually supports.

Back to topic, we have offered WHMReseller for quite some time now and have never received a complaint from a client stating that a feature he was looking for (one that WHMPHP) offers is not available

That is the comparison between WHMPHP and WHMReseller, however, it is quite old now. WHMPHP has many features than WHMReseller. Expecially Root Permission Checker, Domain Black list, Hard Suspend , Lock Resellers Password etc

Actually, I don't believe a client would come to a "reseller" to complain about a software or suggest a feature. They will go straight to the 'developer' of the software which in this case, you are not. So I don't see any sense in this comment. I personally used WHMReseller before 2 years and know how much trouble I faced.

The one who use WHMPHP after using WHMReseller , will not go back to WHMReseller, even though WHMPHP price is higher than WHMReseller.

WHMPHP is better because it has a module that goes with whmcs so you can auto install your resellers on your server and you can do migration with it.

WHMReseller is HIGHLY problematic to put it lightly. WHMPHP on the other hand is absolutely excellent, never experienced an issue with it.

I did use WHMPHP for 12 months, but i did not like the fact of them rather than spending time and effort on updates they would bring out a load of useless plugins that allowed clients to overide settings you had set in place. Also their support can be rather rude and abrupt.

I now use WHMReseller and yes it is run by a Brett Deason who is slow at support, but his support system allows you to send the tickets by SMS which gets a quicker response. I have a lifetime licence with WHMReseller

so far never experienced any issues with WHMReseller

WHMReseller is quite old and it has several bugs and it makes high server loads frequently.

WHMReseller has just released version 4 and after using version 3.3 for several years i have never found any bugs or any high server loads.

the only issue is that Brett (ceo of deasoft) is slow on support, but never needed to ask for support that often i think only once in the last 3 years
