WHMPHP or WHMreseller?

We are currently torn between using WHMPHP or WHMreseller for our master resellers. Personally I prefer WHMreseller, as it's within WHM and is easy to use. I don't really like WHMPHP, but apparently it's more secure, has automatic setup and more preferred in the industry. Can any one shed some light into the pros and cons of each? Which one would you guys recommend as the best choice for both us and our clients?

Peronally I like the WHMPHP more, think its just because i have more experience with it.

I have heard the same claims about it been more secure but not seen any "proof"

I have experience only with WHMReseller but found it to be a solid piece of software, no bugs or security issues in my time using it.

If you are going to use either of them, I would suggest WHMreseller. Even though the support is a one man show it still work fine. Haven't had any issues testing that software.

WHMReseller over the years have greatly improved fromw hat it use to be. It use to be buggy but it looks like the new release has fixed many of them. Both look pretty solid.

It may take some time to bring down WHMReseller. Been a very trusted script for quite some time.
However, there's always a good place for a better competitor.

WHMPP may probably one of them

WHMReseller has been in this industry for quite a long time and hence it has been preferred by many of the users (me too ;)). Hence, I would suggest you to choose this in comparison to WHMPHP which is quite new in comparison to WHMReseller.

WHMMaster Is good but need more resources than WHMPHP.

I prefer WHMPHP can do the same and don't consume too mutch.

Well, frankly it is not WHMMaster but WHMreseller. :smash:

Also it seems that a lot people is rewarded to tell the world the wrong conclusion that WHMPHP better is than WHMreseller!

WHMReseller is what I used to use and it was a bit buggy prior to them converting it from C to C++. I think I would probably use it again knowing that they fixed a lot of bugs and worked on it quite a bit since I last had it.

Well, if WHMreseller and WHMPHP offer the same features and WHMPHP requires more resources than WHMreseller then I will definitely use WHMreseller. However, WHMPHP website claims that WHMPHP is better than WHMreseller.

Here is a comparison : whmphp(dot)com/comparison.php.

Make sure that this comparison is on the official website of WHMPHP ;)

I've never used WHMPHP so can't comment much about it but it does seem to be quite competitive in terms of features. Unfortunately, you can't really trust too much of what is said on their own site though as they probably won't list the cons of their software (if any exist). As for WHMReseller, it's not perfect but it has proven to be trustworthy.
