Howdy,

We're currently with WHMCS but looking for a more advanced platform than the current. Has anyone been with ubersmith?

Best, Mark

Haven't tried Ubersmith, but I didn't have any good experience with WHMCS. Their support is not that good.

Ubersmith is good, great even. For shared or VPS solutions it's a bit overkill. Pricing starts at $250/mo.

If you're not satisfied with WHMCS try:
Hostbill
Clientexec
Blesta

Hostbill follows WHMCS in terms of integrations, add-ons, and modules.

Clientexec has been around before WHMCS, and is great. It just lacks add-ons and integrations when comparing to WHMCS.

Blesta is much newer. Apparently, it's pretty good.

Ubersmith is overpriced in my opinion, unless you need the heavy customization for your business process.

If you want to move from WHMCS, HostBill and Blesta are great alternatives. We use Blesta ourselves and it has been delightful.

Thank you for the recommendations.

Both Ubersmith and WHMCS hаvе big difference in their businеss models and targеt diffеrеnt markets. Ubersmith used by larger hoѕtѕ or Datacenters that nееd to mаnаge variоus dеvicеs in different datacenters. Whilе WHMCS іs basically preferred by the startups, or business tо client models that aіm at having a plеasant look and feel for their buѕineѕѕ. Mostly a skilled Ubersmith develорer who knows the ins and оuts оf the system will help you gеt quality order formѕ to integrate with your business. But WHMCS is manageable by ordіnary usеrs. The other point to note is small time hosts may opt fоr WHMCS whilе larger datacenters mаy select Uberѕmith becauѕe of easy automating taѕkѕ and managing devices.

Comparing them both is like comparing Apples with Grapes.

We have tried most everything and they all lack in different options.
Ubersmith tried to be more of a partner before and wanted to charge per client type of deal which was a turn off for us.

Blesta had some great features but at the time we used it was lacking basic things that we needed. Knowledge base, mass email, along with modules missing. They have since added a bunch of these.

Hostbill, they had some good setups, however for a bit they went crazy on a price hike which turned off a lot of people.

Whmcs has been pretty solid for the most part however some issues with it as well.

Like the most people here, we've given up from Ubersmith due to pricing. It's an unfair model (per our opinion)

WHMCS is those days pretty good. Depending on what type of company you are.
HostBill is also a good choice for Colo/Dedicated Providers and EU companies, as they still offer much better support with some small features that can make life easier.

whmcs provides lots of features but not everyone need this. Most of the hosting provides need only basic features but all have to pay high price because of its most advanced features.
I think whmcs provide 2 versions of whmcs, simple and advance.

Using WHMCS since years never faced any problems and just 15$ /m but compared to Ubersmith first and foremost it's way way cheaper.

ubersmith allows the registration of individualized customers, the possibility of adding services and methods of varied and compatible payments is appreciated, the creation of tickets to each user is of great help.
