WHMCS Lifetime lisence

so your website is vimlyhost.net but if ordering you are directed to my.dct.host and yet it shows both these are authorised to use WHMCS, so why direct to a different site unless you are edging your bets in case WHMCS find out and invalidate the licences
I don't have the original install from the main site, and it's hosted on github now, so I'd need to move to a subdomain.

Unfortunately, the seller had installed a copy of whmcs in my new location, but it was unlicensed and they never replied to my email message.

I'd pay Month to Month, but due to the nature of business, it's completely beyond my reach and no one is yet to help me with this.

I wish to service a paid plan in-house via whmcs, then pay for whmcs myself, and at a later point buy the servers outright.

There's currently a seller on eBay selling lifetime licenses, his latest listing can be found here;

sniped

He said been slow to respond recently, and he's a rather strange seller. He requires cPanel access to install WHMCS, however his licenses are indeed valid, strangely still valid after uninstall. I've had the license for 6 months, and its worked without issues.

He doesn't do direct transfers though for some reason, nor giving you the key.

it is clear you are pushing fake licences as this is what WHMCS has to say about these

Hello Terry,

Thank you for contacting WHMCS Technical Support.

No, these are not genuine, we have flagged these with eBay to have removed and appreciate you bringing them to our attention

Please do let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

They wont as they know they are selling fake licences.

If you cannot afford a WHMCS licence they why no chose a cheaper alternative until you get established or look for a host that offers a free or cheap WHMCS licence. a WHMCS reseller can only sell or give away a licence to their customers to use on their own network.
i.e. say i had 12 dedicated servers as was WHMCS reseller then i can sell or offer licences to anyone using any of my 12 servers, but i cannot sell a licence to anyone using a server from another company.

if as your site says you are only 16 years old, then you need to learn alot about this industry as 1 mistake can cause you major reputation damage. take these licences and say you have clients and then WHMCS revoke the licence as it is invalid then it will cause your system to through up invalid licence errors, so will not look good to your clients.

Also to get these licences they insist you give them access to your cpanel to install the licence rather than just give you the licence key. This is something you should never do, as what are they doing in your cpanel. what can they be installing (malware, keyloggers etc.).

I am sure everyone here appreciates you actually reaching out to WHMCS about this eBay sale, in order to warn unsuspecting potential people who might make a purchase, but let's just be careful with wording about who is pushing it.

I had a friend developing a portal for me, however he has done very little worth if any in the last few days.

That would mean nothing when your licences are cancelled by WHMCS and you are aware that if they link any genuine licences with a fake licence then they could also cancel the genuine licence.

You would be better off opening a support ticket with WHMCS and explain that you purchase a suspected fake licence.
If you want you can also mention my ticket YGD-398136 and this will help them

They are developing it completely separate of whmcs, and whmcs would just suggest buying a license from them or approved reseller.

but they will cancel any licences you have as they are invalid/fake, so you would be without a whmcs licence until you sort one out and as you have stated you cannot afford 1 from them

As far as I'm aware WHMCS DOES NOT manage phpMyAdmin nor does it manage the PHP Coding language. My developer is not using any kind of CMS to develop the portal, and the whmcs license still shows as valid, although I have long since deleted the install.

But Genuine WHMCS is encoded and links to the WHMCS licence server via the licence key and hash.

Using an unauthorised copy is a copyright infringement and in the USA and UK a criminal act.

If you are serious about your Hosting business you will use WHMCS.I think the 15usd/month is well worth it.
I have been using WHMCS for many months now and the ease of use + third party modules make it great.
I also noticed some VPN providers and generic e-commerce sites using it.

I dont think so, i think a long long time time ago, they had a sort of life time license, with yearly updates, but you had to buy the yearly updates every year

I'm fully aware. I can't make it any more clear.

• WHMCS still shows as valid.
• The install has been deleted.
• My new client portal is custom developed.

I don't see generic websites using whmcs, as it wouldn't intergrate very well. And my CMS (now custom developed) is only for managing free accounts.

Paid accounts are directly sent to my supplier, whom do use whmcs. We both use cPanel & WHM.

Is it possible to get WHMCS lisence for lifetime.

The complete answer to the original question is that WHMCS does not sell lifetime licenses anymore. As noted by others, you can purchase someone else's WHMCS lifetime license and they then transfer that to you via the WHMCS team.

What has not been noted is that WHMCS takes a small fee for ownership transfer. :)
