Which do you prefer for a remote desktop? Windows Server or Windows 10 / 11?

Windows Server is designed for server workloads, and using it for simple remote work can be hard for normal users. On the other hand, Windows 10/11 is familiar to us to use on a remote server.

If you are setting up a VPS mainly for remote desktop and running applications, which would you prefer to choose?
I'd like to hear your experience with both and know which one you prefer most.

Ultimately, it depends on the workload: Windows 10/11 for everyday desktop tasks and Windows Server for professional hosting and multi-user environments.

Hello!

It all depends on what exactly you need to do with your server.

As a regular user for remote work, I would choose familiar Windows 11 rather than Windows Server, since Windows Server requires a bit of digging around to fully understand all of its functionality.

It always depends on the applications you're going to use. There are even some applications that only work on Ubuntu, but for the most part, everything works fine with Windows 10/11.

Just for convenience, I would choose Windows 10, and if I can keep an eye on the updates, even better. I would only update the things that really matter to me.
