Can you all tell me what control panel you are using and reason of using it?

1. cPanel
2. xPanel
3. LayeredPanel
4. Ensim
5. Others

cPanel.
Ease of use + client demand.
I have limited experience with other control panels mainly because I've never had a problem with cPanel.

but i ever heard someone said xPanel and LayeredPanel are better compare to cPanel in term of free hosting. Do you agree?

Couldn't tell you.
I've never gone with a free panel.
I think it's comparing apples and oranges if you want to compare paid control panels with free ones.

I think these mentioned platforms are focusing on free hosting market only. I haven't reallly heard of these panels openly promoting or competing with the likes of CPanel.

Best,

we use to use directadmin when we offered hosting packages they have a great tech support dept. and customer friendly

I'm a cPanel person. xPanel I dislike, never heard of LayeredPanel, Ensim is horrific. Plesk is ok but I rarely tend to use it. DirectAdmin is also a good control panel as well.

For our company site we use cpanel. For my personal server I have worked with plesk. It's more up to date and is much easier and fluid to manage. For a webhosting company you will have to weigh what customers have used before or have heard of. In that case cpanel might bring you the greatest amount of customers.

I have to go with Cpanel myself. It is the only control panel that I have tested 100% throughout. Others may be nice but I have not found a reason to look elsewhere. So Cpanel it is for a long time to come.

I would like to check out H-Sphere at some point. That one looks really nice.

On all my sites I use Cpanel and I have on Plesk site.

Cpanel seems to be the most popular and has so many tools that it is hard to beat. Plesk I think is starting to come around.

Plesk is really coming along though all though it is more difficult to use but i think that is just becuase I am so used to Cpanel.

One vote for cPanel.

I've been using it for years and have been happy with it.

Helped me grow my online business and my customers too.

We are using cPanel and Direct Admin. Both seem to work great, both have advantages and disavantages. I would say Direct Admin is best bang for its $$$, since the cost is 4 times less than cPanel.

CPANEL top choice

I have cpanel on my personal server, main one anyway but there are others that are good and some for a lot less price.
ServerCP, PLesk, Direct Admin is the other 3 worth mentioning.
Helm for Windows isnt too bad but I dont do alot with it since I have never been one to push Windows servers.
Is all a matter of prefernce I guess.
The one thing I dont like about ServerCP, bout the only thing worth mentioning is that Mod Rewrite isnt packaged in the panel, you have to manually install the mod and try not to break the system which is a bit tricky

Add one more vote to Cpanel,
I use the cpanel's latest version, All our clients demand only that, and it has everything built in it ! The latest version 11 is really rocking, Some months ago We have been using version 10 but now, most of the reselling business are switching over to cpanel 11.
It has an excellent design and great security !
