Which company?

Good host depends on what you actually need as several people said....
From our statistics <<MOD NOTE: link removed. Advertising is not allowed in this subforum>>, I can say that people generally look for

   price & features first
  reliability and creditability second
 technical and customer support services third

try getting free quotes from web hosts for YOUR specific needs. This will help you evaluate web hosts on YOUR set of criteria. For example, you can make a basic Excel chart and evaluate quotes on this chart very effectively by giving different points (weights) for different features. If web space is the most important criteria give it a higher weight for example...

A lot of people ask the same question to girlfriends...

"Who was your best girlfriend or ex?"

How would you answer that? All of them are different and unique in a way; just like most hosting companies. I'm not going into the whole theory, but yet to give one simple advice. Going with the best is not always the best choice, but yet, being with the host that you're most comfortable with.

Thanks!

I don't think there is a "best web host". You need to find a web host that offers a plan that suits your needs.
As taken (stolen?) from Chicken on WebHostingTalk: "There is no best host, only the host that's best for you."

I wouldn't say it's stolen. Besides, it would be hard to prove that anything was stolen, even from a copyright point of view. :)
