What is your favorite community niche and why is it your favorite?

What is your least favorite community niche and why is it your least favorite?

Do you absolutely refuse to join a community that is about your least favorite niche?

My favorite communities are usually around technology and digital work because there’s always something new to learn, and people are generally willing to share practical experiences.

I don’t really have a least favorite niche, but I tend to avoid communities where most discussions are just arguments or promotion. I’d still join one if there were a specific topic I wanted to learn about, though. The quality of the discussions matters more to me than the niche itself.
