What is the best software for Virtual Private Servers?

Virtual Private Servers gurus, we want you! Tell us what software you have found that works well with offering VPS solutions. What kind of server do you have setup for it? Is it true that you need a Dual Xeon to run a VPS effectively? How do you base your pricing?

Not a guru (we currently have 1 VPS client), but we're using VirtualPC or whatever it is called. No problems with it yet.

Can you tell I'm not a server administrator? ;D
