  • CPU AMD XP 1700+ 1.47GHz
  • CPU Cooler Neolec Socket Athlon 2.0 Ghz paps
  • Mot GigaByte SA GA-7 DXR AMD-76 (Click here for details)
  • Floppydrive 3,5"
  • 4x CDROM (mitsumi) - Yeah it's slow but only gonna use it once
  • Sis 6??? 4MB AGP (it's a server... :D)
  • 2x DDR 512MB 266 Infineon/MSC CL2
  • 2x IDE Seagate 40GB UDMA100/7200T Bar.IV (mirrored trough raid)
  • 2x ONDRIVE coolers (screwed onto the HDD)
  • 2x FRONTSIZE 5.25" HDD Coolers

What do you think of the config? motherboard etc etc...
I will run RedHat 7.2 on it and it's used for several (potentially) big bandwidth sites...

Hey it looks real good but i recommend you pay more money and get the intel..........It won't let you down like an AMD may

I thought that was the other way around?

AMD's are more reliable :p

Btw, thats some nifty piece of equipment :]

Hello moogz,

Please go read any article on the internet about AMD compared to Intel and you will easily learn that they have a tendecy to over heat quite easily
