I tried Host Gator and the hosting itself was not terrible, but they canceled a friend of mines account with no prior explanation.

Personally however, they never did me any wrong although I do not trust them too much.

They can be a good choice, depending on how much money you have to spend and what your goals are with a web host.

My best 3

My best five would have to be

dream-host.co.uk <<< very good service (not dreamhost as i also thought) 8/10

eukhost.com <<<< great package for what i needed but the service was poor 6/10

blackfoot.co.uk <<< service was ok and the packages where ok
4/10

hope this helps some one :D

agreed, I'm with HostGator right now and couldn't be happier. $10/m for 600GB of diskspace (using 200+GB now :) ) is too awesome. Other budget hosts i had good experiences with were JaguarPC and hostNine ( thumbs up!). However Hostgator really beats the rest flat...

I see that on many forums hostgator is considered to be one oof the best hosting comapnies, is it really so good to host an account at this company?

I cooperated with many small hosting companies and didn't have any problems at all.

So there is a question: are these advertised companies worth cooperating with them?

My choices are Host Gator and IX Web Hosting. This is not based on affiliate payouts but I have been using them for my clients' sites for over a year. They are my favourite because they are affordable, reliable and attend to me well when I have a problem. I give the thumbs up to Host Gator for their excellent reseller hosting plans.

MisterV,thx for the information.I also heard that site5 is a good hosting company and has affordible prices by way

i think companies listed in CJ are worth trust , because cj accept only brands . Also if these companies are loyal to affiliates i am sure they are loyal to customers too ..however you should read terms of service before signing up any host .
