What are the red flags that AI audits look for in content?

Hey, how are you?

Well, I think AI also looks for similarities to how it would write itself. Even though I write articles myself and understand that 100% uniqueness is only possible when you're making something up, AI tools usually write in a very similar way, so they can easily flag texts like that.

They may also consider content AI-generated if there’s absolutely no personal experience, opinion, or unique perspective included. I know this because I wrote one of the articles myself — and I swear I wrote it on my own — but it still showed up as 100% AI-generated.

Maybe it’s because I use AI too often and started writing more like it, but after adding my personal experience from my previous job, the detector showed that the text wasn’t AI-generated at all.

I agree. Too many bullets, one-line paragraphs, repetitive phrases, and generic introductions can make content feel AI-generated. I’ve found that adding real examples, varied sentence structure, and genuine insights makes content feel much more natural. Tools like Grammarly can help with readability, but human editing still makes the biggest difference.
