Website Design costs

A unique and creative design should take handsome amount. One can buy template but can't get unique design. I charge 150$ for web design (just Home page and one inner page layout)
 
funny you all see designers are cheap I asked someone to design me a site for my hosting buinsess and he told me it would be $250 with 50% deposit. So I figured out I will do it.

I paid him half of the 250 he should be someone very nice, a few days later he contacted me and asked me for the last half I sent it and then Never heard from him again.

So for me ithemes or Template monster... Thats my input
 
Depends on what type of website you are looking for. The more coding involved in developing your website then the more it would cost.
 
Signing up with a Host offering free templates in another great idea. In it, you get a good variety of templates free in hosting and enjoy them by modifying according to your needs.
