I'v mentioned this again,We do test's randomly using random softwares.
As Of now we are using Hosttracker and not the others.
and we do undertake tests of hosting companies every 1-2 days but the pages aren't updated unless there Is major downtime noticed.
Hope I'v answered all of your queries.

How do you notice downtime if you are not tracking it ?????? What you check is site availability, but you haven't shown one single screenshot that shows what the uptime/downtime percent is!

Actually, I am just starting.
And I am starting with the simplest question of all - uptime - that you mentioned in your advertising:

YOUR QUOTE:

We are yet to receive some hard data proving you do any testing at all.


When you advertise things like these, do you expect us not to ask questions about your testing process, and why you classify companies as "genuine" to validate your statement?

Anyways, as Art said you are not providing us with the information we are asking for. In my own words you are sugar coating it to seem like you are. Those who chat almost daily on this forum know what to look for, and how to see through things. You posted a ad in which you figured no one would question you on. Now that we are, you are trying your best to make your site still look good, but with each post it is going down the crapper.

Please be honest with us and tell us what we want to know. Thank you.
 
It is not my intention to discredit your site in any way. For the benefit of all, I just want to clarify your statement that you are able to qualify hosting companies as genuine based on a certain testing process in categories you mentioned.

I was left intrigued that you test each hosting company yourself, and merely trying to understand how, but so far I don't see one bit of information that what you state about your review site is true.
 
I agree with Art, I am not trying to discredit your site either I am just curious to how you test each company. You claim you test them out by your self using various tools yet you do not provide sufficient information about the tools, and any questions we ask.

I have provided as much Information about our work practice as possible.
I'v mentioned what I use.
I'v mentioned on what basis I rate the companies.
I'v mentioned the domain names on which the tests were taken
I'v mentioned the screen-shots
I'v mentioned that the tests are taken randomly
I'v mentioned that the softwares are used randomly

I know you guys are doing your best to Improve the forum but I really think I'v mentioned pretty much every thing.

We asked you a very simple question you didn't (and still don't) know the answer to, or perhaps you simply don't want to answer because there is nothing to say.

I Did provide the Screen-shot(Actually 2)
I did provide the Domain names on which the tests were undertaken.

Normally hosting forums just ask for the domain name for monitoring and anything else thats provided by the webmaster serves as a bonus.
I'v gone out of my way to provide screen-shots as well.

and assuming that you referring to the most Important question as 'how do you know there Is downtime' Is :
We do check the website for down-time every day on host-tracker(for which the screen-shot Is allready provided)
 
You've obviously put a lot of time into compiling this site, but it just doesn't work for me as a genuine review site. Here's why ... the thumbs up or thumbs down rating of your review doesn't seem to have any relationship to the rating of the host - complete disconnect. When I see a review rated with 6 thumbs down and NO thumbs up, yet you rank that provider in the top ten - the whole review process becomes suspect. Add that there are no thumbs up or thumbs down options for all of your reviews further degrades the framework of your site.

When I see uptime ratings, I expect to see percentage of uptime .. 99.99%, 96.73% and so on.

Seeing a provider on your top ten list that I know has had massive problems in the last six months makes me wonder how much of a factor customer support plays into your review. My perception ... NOT much.

The typography and grammar on the site are less than professional .. spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, spacing ... the works.

The site definitely has potential, but I wouldn't use it in it's present state for genuine reviews. Sorry.

I do wish your business success.
