webdesign programs

I use a combo of fireworks, photoshop, and dreamweaver. I'm not that good at graphics as I am still learning the basics. I find macromedia to provide a great suite of software in order to get the job done.

Agreed, it goes on all my Windows machines by default.

Photoshop is my favorite for editing, but if you are on a budget, Gimp works well. Gimpshop ( http://www.gimpshop.net/ )is a pretty cool derivative of Gimp where the layout is changed to be like Photoshop's (one window, toolbar layouts). Very helpful if you are used to Photoshop.
