Yes, advertising like this is just wow...Also, when your caught like this, it ruins your reputation on a unbelievable scale.

To say the least, not to mention how it's also ethically and morally corrupt as well. But hey, I have seen more than a few hosts trying to pull this same exact thing, and it's quite frankly pretty pathetic. To have a web hosting operation and a review site on the side is one thing, but only if you are honest and unbiased about it.
 
Many reviews are biased and some are done by newbiew in the forums ....

We should read and accept only if the review shows the things between two parties
 
Web Hosting directories are not to trust worthy as I find they cater to the bigger fishes.

However if you add your site to quite a few of them they do indeed help with your page rankings.
