VPS, Dedicated, or what?

I would go for dedicated if it's going to be busy, then you've got full CPU at your disposal plus nothing else can use the disc I/O.

well in the beginning VPS hosting sounds perfect and you can switch on to dedicated server later on as well.

Initially there is no harm to go with the vps having enough resources to handle 15,000 uniques a day just in case. As soon as you experience more traffic and need more resources you and switch over to dedicated server.

In the beginning I suggest you to choose VPS as it is less costly and good enough for the new website later on you can move on to dedicated server hosting.

In case you do not want to spend a lot of money at the start of your project, then you can go with cloud VPS, which can give you an opportunity to upgrade your server at any time when your project starts consuming more resources. To my mind this is an optimal choice for now. Once you notice that your project is growing steadily you will be able to afford powerful dedicated server.

Hello,

For your site requirements I will suggest you to signup for a small dedicated server, so you will get your own bandwidth for your site also it will not cost you more.

For our customers, I would recommend they try our lowest VPS and see if it fits their needs. The only time I recommend someone upgrade to dedicated server is when they really tax the CPU or needs lots of memory for their app. In those situations, it makes more economic sense to get a dedi.

Anyhow, that's what we tell our customers.
