Very low cost

Many people think going for cheap is always the best option.

That is hardly not the case. Price and quality are inversely proportional unless stated otherwise.

If you are going for a hosting kindly take into consideration below mentioned points:

-> Free setup on initial stage
-> 24X7 fast professional support
-> Latest hardware configuration of server
-> 99.99% network SLA
-> 100% uptime guarantee
-> Excellent availability and security of your hardware

Brybert, why would you avoid VPS hosting? Sorry, but I am a bit new to this and am trying to suck up all the information as it were because I plan on moving up to a reseller account soon and I want to make sure I don't do something silly.

I'd suggest HostforWeb
They have the best support you can find and also have a very active user forum with lots of resellers & VPS participants so you could get answers from fellow customers or their support.
Prices are "reasonable" not too cheap, not too high... but the main thing is their lever & speed of support especially for newbies.
I get a VPS there now and then if I'm experimenting with something personal and they are great at support and the people on the forums are friendly & helpful.

Hello
Well, I think in 2009, Social Media cannot be ignored. In 2008, we’ve seen Social Media & Marketing making HUGE strides. SM is what I would call good, low-cost weapons to add to your marketing and communication arsenal. You WILL spend your valuable time connecting and communicating, but the ROI of Social Media can be incredible.

Social Media will become even MORE critical for the smaller organizations looking to compete with the big boys. Creating personal connections that ADD VALUE to your audience is Key.

A lot of marketers will jump into SM with the same approach as traditional media and marketing – They Will Fail. Social Media is about being SOCIAL and interacting/facilitating meaningful engagements.

Now, traditional methods of marketing and communications aren’t [entirely] dead. Remember the Marketing Mix? Make sure each piece of your marketing pie compliment and build on one another.

Here are thoughts on a few “new” tools:

Twitter – Used to provide a glimpse into the everyday characters, musings, events, etc. of a company/brand/individual. Perfect for keeping the conversation Two-Way.

If you choose web hosting at a cheap price, you must accept all the risks and limitations .. Sometimes making a website and a good dinamais require significant costs because it was backed by additional features that you do not get if you choose web hosting services with a cheap price.

Thanks and hope it can help you to make desicion...

I think it also depends on what you are going for though. Sometimes, it makes more sense to get less costly hosting, if you don't need the site for something that you're expecting to get money back from.

Is there a very reliable, knowledgeable, low cost reseller package that you recommend at any particular host? I want to attempt all this but honestly am afraid I will end up dropping the ball so I thought getting a reseller account and playing with it for a great while might be reasonable but can't afford to spend a lot.

That would be a great idea to start as a shared hosting reseller. You may consider to sign up individual hosting package or reseller hosting package. After that, you could also sign up the hosting package with monthly billing cycle. If the hosting provider offer full money back guarantee, that is even better. :thumbup:

If you do not wish to spend more and still wish to host more domains under one control panel then choose that web host which provides multiple domain hosting plan. Here you get the additional features which are supported by this plan.

If you will use your reseller account to learning and test yourself you shouldn't worry about the quality of the provider where you will buy.

There are lots of cheap resellers around. All you've got to do is just a little research and some trust. *EHEM*
