VBulletin or PHPBB 3

If it's being used for a company, I'd go with vBulletin. If you're just wanting something suitable for a community, I'd say phpBB3 would be fine.
 
vBulletin if you want your forum taken seriously. Although I am not familiar with PHPBB3, going based on their track record... stay far away.
