Toll Free Number

Are you looking for a number for a land line, or for VOIP?

I have used CallCentric in the past, and currently use Vonage for 877 numbers, these are both VOIP setups.

May want to also call your local phone company if you're looking for landlines rather than Internet lines.

Yeah - don't use it!! ;) It's a nice IDEA to help save some money, and great in a pinch, but the lag on the line, the line quality etc is not worth the money! Certanly wouldn't use it for a business! I have one, it sits in the drawer for the most part. I take it with me when I go to the lake - that's about it.

if you have a costco membership you can get discount toll free, long distance, and voip. just go to costco.com and click on services.

Has anyone else had experiences with Kall8? The prices seem to be decent, but I want to make sure quality isn't sacrificed as this is a critical part of business if it's added to the company.

A few years back I seriously looked into a toll free number. It just didn't make sense financially on the small scale I was operating at. Don't get me wrong, it's a great resource for existing and potential customers, but do yourself a favor and calculate the rates for your expected calls(and time). If it still makes sense after that then consider your phone company.
