Essentially it all comes down to what fits your needs as well.
For example, somebody above mentioned control panel...
We have a lot of clients who wanted WordPress, or another CMS or forum software installed for them, and have never logged into a control panel, they don't know or care if we use cPanel or Plesk or ISPConfig or whatever else.
A couple of other people mentioned operating system options...
The vast majority of people who want to host a simple personal or business website really have no interest in whether their site runs on AlmaLInux, Debian, Ubuntu, or any other Linux distro. They care that it's stable and secure and that the people who are administering the server know what they are doing.
On the other hand if you are taking an unmanaged VPS or dedicated server then the choice of distro is probably a lot more important to you.
