Reminds me of a networking firm I worked for years ago where the owner posted company policy for EVERYTHING - plastered them on every wall in the building. There were so many, everyone just generally ignored them. It was ridiculous. An example - a tech left his jacket at a client's site. The client mailed it back to our office. We had a company policy that we had to create a work order to receive it into Shipping & Receiving. No room to think out of the box there!!
Some large corporations are successful though because they have personnel on staff that they encourage to think out of the box.
