There are many factors that go into this how ever, it isn't as easy as sending traffic there and things start to happen. You gotta find the right user looking for what you are offering, if it is to sign up to a message board, buy hosting, buy any kind of products. You should have around a 2% turn over rate. Traffic can do many things for you even if yo udon't get one sale :)

One problem with that, I don't have a site that sells stuff, I just want to get more traffic on my forum. Is this the wrong place to be? I don't think the right kind of guest will see what they are looking for...
