Stay Far From MochaHost

If they offering 30 day money back you dont need to tell any reason to quit and ask for refund. They should pay back.

Exactly. Typically, a 30-day guarantee is considered a "satisfaction guarantee". If you are not completely satisfied with the services provided to you, you can cancel your account at any time within 30 days for a no questions asked full refund.

If a host does not want to honor that guarantee, they should not offer it. Simple as that.

While I agree a 30 day guarantee should be no questions asked, the OP here opened a PayPal dispute - maybe I'm missing something here. Is that dispute ongoing or has it been settled?

That sounds bad.I heard some good reviews about them actually in the past, looks like refund policy is not that clear

I've read a few bad things about MochaHost, and will definitely not consider using them.. ever.

Sorry to hear that you had to deal with all this.

The stories that I hear by this company are amazing, seems like their service and reputability is smashed :(

Since you are in the same business perhaps you could provide some examples other than this thread, which is dubious at best.
If you want to slag another host I don't think it's unreasonable for you to provide some evidence a little more tangible than "stories I hear"

I have done business with this company for about 6 years. Unfortunately, something seems to have gone downhill at this company in the past couple of years. I still have to disengage some of my business from them, so I will have to refrain from offering too many details at this time.

At this time, though, I will stand by the statement that something is not quite right with the company. I am not sure what it could be that has gone wrong at the company, but there is certainly something wrong.

It is my intention to provide the San Jose BBB with a full report of the "accident" that occured recently and the response from the MochaHost staff.

What I am wondering here in this forum is just how much information I am allowed to post in this thread to corroborate my view that there is serious need for internal reviews at MochaHost for them to be able to regain the trust of customers like myself.

Mind you, I won't be posting anything specific until I have managed removing from their reach some valuables, so to speak.

Once I am assured that posting specifics are allowed and when I feel it is safe to do so, I am also quite sure we will then see a MochaHost spokesperson posting here. I have found in my research over the past 48 hours or so that MochaHost seems to take negative reviews seriously enough to have staff members post responses, so it might be interesting to see how they will respond to what happened to me.

I guess I should also state that I am sorry my reason for joining this community was to do a negative post like this, but it does seem that folks should be advised of matters such as this when they are making decisions such as are required when one takes the jump into website ownership and management. It may not be as important as buying a home, but ...

Well, I think this post has gotten a bit long, hasn't it?
