Stay away from WHMCS until thyey get rid of 'BEAR' forum moderator

So now that you're satisfied, are you still moving to Clientexec?

As i have paid for the CE licence for the month, i am still configuring this install, just incase bear or any of WHMCS staff start again.

The Office of Fair Trade are still keen to speak to Matt regarding the last comment Bear made in the PM.

I'm sorry, but just to get a perspective call on this, you complained to the office of fair trading because he said you blustered??

Blustered = making small threats, going on a bit too long about a small thing...

It seems to me a very mild thing, and I'd respectfully suggest that you have totally lost perspective on it. Time to move on, make some money. You'll always find someone who doesn't like you somewhere - maybe they're right, maybe they're wrong?

After all, who cares if you bluster sometimes?? Don't we all? In fact, welcome to the human race, maybe you have a fault!! Congratulations, up till that moment I thought you were perfect!! Isn't it our faults that make us endearing, human and lovable? :)

Bear can be a little rude sometimes, no doubt about it. Silly man. But overall, he's a good moderator and quite wise in the scheme of things. Really, it's just not important - even people who are supposed to know stuff get things wrong sometimes!!

Sometime it's just about taking a long deep breath, laughing at your own folly and the folly of those around you ... and just getting on with it. If someone wants to be an idiot about something you said - just let go, let them do it, it doesn't reflect on you. (and half the time they just took you out of context anyway!)

Hey - have a fantastic Easter break. Hope you got lots of great eggs, plenty of good belly laughs, and some pleasant days outside. :)

It is this comment that has been reported

This one member in particular gets under my skin a bit, since he's a notorious liar (once faked his own death to escape bad reviews and lies) and manipulator

As this is a 100% lie and is libel which he made after been told off by a paid WHMCS staff member and then when another WHMCS/cPanel staff member decided to agree with bears comments along with the ignorance of Matt (WHMCS owner) who has decided not to reply to my direct complaints, then it left me no choice but to report WHMCS for libel comments against me. I got this sorted soon after contacted the OFT (strange that), but the last update i got from the OFT is that they have decided to look into WHMCS after they looked through their forum, as they dont like the way they are now running their business

*update* This has been sorted to a point where i am happy. I have also informed them that as long as 'bear' remain a moderator i will no longer be an active member of their forum

Good to hear you got it sorted.

WHMCS is a great peice of software and for me nothing compared. Well hostbill did but I went for whmcs.

The staff were really helpful at whmcs too. I was having a problem downloading the latest version of whmcs so I could upgrade and without me asking them, one of the staff asked me if they'd like them to upload the file to the server for me for no extra cost.

I told them yes and created them an ftp account and within 5 minutes they had it uploaded to my server.

I really appreciated and still do appreciate that.

Nice to hear a positive experience from WHMCS support! Generally these days its all negative....

I usually get great support from tickets, but we were all told the WHMCS/cPanel partnership would better the company, but i would say since this it has started to go downhill

I believe they stated the cPanel partnership caused a large surge in sales which is why support went down hill. Should be coming back up now assuming they are hiring to address the lack of available staff - How has your experience been with them these past couple weeks? Better than when the cPanel partnership was first announced?

personally i see no difference since the cPanel partnership apart from in the forum WHMCS Chris and Infopro, who are actually cPanel staff working from Houston and Bear becoming more agressive in his posts etc., but since the 2 CP staff, he has less mod work too do

But there is nothing to back this up (no difference), its perfectly possible that they received a sudden surge ins sales. Why do you disbelieve this?

i have never said i disbelieve anything, to me i have never noticed and difference in their support towards me.

even during the 5.1.2 issues where their forum was full of users saying they have waited days/weeks for support i was still getting support issues dealt and sorted within hours of tickets being made.

a lot of support issues with WHMCS are users themselves opening multiple tickets or bumping tickets.
