I agree with Dan, if you are going for a VPS make sure to go with a good provider who would keep overselling to a minimum. Remember, even on a VPS you would be using a shared CPU.

The best thing to hit webhosting technology is VPS IMO only i dont use it really. Still its a great option for people who dont want to pay for a dedicated server. What are your opinions?

I would personally prefer a VPS over a reseller account. With a reseller account I would have no control over the services or what is installed, and I would be at the mercy of someone else to login and resolve any problems, and if I had to wait a while that might hurt my business, with a VPS I could at least be on my own and would have the power to resolve any problems as I become aware of them on the spot.
