Recommendations for a Reliable Online Wordpad Tool?

Hello everyone.

I'm looking for advice from anyone who has experience using an online wordpad tool. Recently, I’ve been switching between devices and need a simple, no-frills editor that works in the browser.

I found a few options, but I'm unsure which one is reliable for saving drafts, sharing notes, and avoiding formatting issues. The keyword online wordpad appears often in search results, yet most sites seem identical.

Can anyone recommend a trustworthy platform or share what features I should prioritize? I’d appreciate any guidance before committing to a specific tool to ensure consistent work across all my writing and study projects.

I love iA Writer but it's not online, and pastebin.com for writing and saving them. You could use Microsoft365 online?

I can't tell you how much I rely on Google Docs in general - including client notes.

But as Artashes mentioned - Google Keep is a great tool. We use that here for everything from shared shopping lists to quick mental notes and video or blog ideas.

If you're on a windows computer (windows 11), the Notepad itself is handy. I use that regularly. You don't need to save the file, just close the software and it will store it in a session file for you. Next time you open notepad, the info is still there. Very handy for quick things too.
