Hello,

I have been hosting with www.ehosting.ca for quite some time now and their service has always been superb. However, I want to look at a few other companies as well.

I'm looking at around 100 - 200GB of data trasfer for now and don't really need a fast hardware. They are offering dedicated servers from $99 CDN a month. Can you please list a few other ones? You can take a look at their offering at http://www.ehosting.ca/plans/absolute.php

Thanks

titus, I don't see a limit of data transfer on the plan you so accurately pointed us to. "Unlimited Data Transfer Offer" - it says on the site, so I am not so sure about credibility...

Hello,

Sorry it's actually http://www.ehosting.ca/plans/dedicated.php

Also, has anyone had experience with ServePath? They have this Celeron 1.2 256MB 20GB 500GB transfer special at $69.99 as listed on http://www.servepath.com/servers/special_offers.htm. Yet the same thing is listed on http://www.servepath.com/servers/basicpath.htm is $89.99. Is it because the $69.99 are pre-owned servers?

$69.99 even in USD for 500GB transfer sounds like a good deal compared to $99 in CDN for 150GB transfer.

if you are looking for a cheap provider, you can take a look at Layered Tech. However, you need to know manage your servers. And they are using single-homed bandwidth from Savvis only. If you need multi-homed bandwidth, you should raise your budget a bit more

Dedicated Servers

Hello, I think ResellersPanel (I don't run that company, I'm only a promoter) has many good Dedicated Servers offers. They offer Dedicated, Semi Dedicated and Managed Servers.

I think this offer will help you:

Optimus

Intel Celeron™ 2.4 GHz
1 GB RAM
80 GB IDE Hard Drive
700 GB Monthly Traffic
Complete Root Access
24/7 Technical Support
And loads more...
For only 99$/month. :)

Many dedicated server providers nowadays offer 1000GB bandwidth as a standard. Why do you need only 200Gb? Basic configuration with a Celeron 2.0 GHz and 1000 GB bandwidth limit should cost around $100 per month.

If Windows OS is selected, price could be little more higher.

LayeredTech is a good option, even though I belive its better to get a VPS from a reliable company if your budget is under $100.
