I dont have any of the 3 but thinking of getting a laptop in the next few months

Do you hate those house programmes that are on nearly every channel now? (At least in the UK they are anyway)
 
You mean those ones about buying houses, auctioning houses, looking at houses, repairing houses, upgrading houses, selling houses etc. that always seem to be on, or other kind of house programs? If so, yes I hate them

Why does my computer keep freezing when the resources are fine and I have done a reformat? (If anyone works this out you will get a nice medal from me :D)
 
Maybe you have a rogue service causing problems? I used to run a quick resolution changing program and it was incompatible with apache for some reason, and whenever I went to a certain page on my site my pc froze. I was surprised to find it was the resolution program and not some apache problem

What is winmngt, and why does it suddenly appear out of nowhere on my Windows ME laptop, eat up all the resources until the laptop dies, then I close it, and everything returns to fine. What is it?

I say it in the news last night but can't remember his name. All I know he works for IBM (same here) and is retiring today.

Ok, what year did you first come on the net?
 
The net as it was I think in about 1994 when you logged on with a slow modem to various BBS's and you had to use a BBS finder to find different stuff
 
I got on for the first time in 95, had a laptop 486DX4 then and a external modem. First time I ever used Windows 95, that's what the computer came with. I was expecting DOS but found Win95 pretty cool looking.

I remember having to mail a voided check to the internet provider to get access. Boy, the times have changed.

I don't really have a question but found that interesting.
