Peer1 Networks, any good?

Has anyone used Peer1 networks before and are they any good?

(www.rackmounted.com www.peer1.com)....I know Savvis.net is one of the best but their website has no information on their pricing nor packages, and I also know ThePlanet is one of the best but I'm unsure of them becaus etheir prices are high lately ($250/mUSD). I know of a few small hosting companiesthat sell colocated servers from ThePlanet for $100/m, but what I really want to know is if Rackmounted or Peer1 is better...

Hmmm...I think we (GSRG.org) will buy a server from www.servermatrix.com...I just got off of LiveChat from ThePlanet and they recommended to me that if we cannot afford their current $250+/m plans than use their satellite division known as ServerMatrix...which is pretty cheap...$120/m...I would get a plan from Rackmounted for $50/m, but I heard from someone on IRC that they had a couple problems with them, so I think I will use ServerMatrix instead. Anyway thanks anyone to helped me here.

Check forums, google, search engines before going with them. Everyone seems to have mixed opinions regarding Peer1. Good luck!

Hello,
I use peer1 in montreal, Canada. I have to say their network is quite good. Had downtimes here and there but i have a BGP4 mix so it did not affect my customers to much!

However their montreal data center is quite scary... very warm...

I've heard nice things about the Peer1 Network. Though I can't vouch for them since we've not had any first hand experience with them.
