Paypal VS Moneybookers

Paypal is far the best, because everyone knows Paypal. Moneybooker is just as good, just that not that many people know about it.

PAYPAL is know but try to grow and get your own merchant account - then you can offer more choices for customers

Personally, I would choose PayPal over Moneybookers for the pure reason that not only is PayPal used more, it's more professional and is backed by eBay (who own Skype, Paypal AND eBay - three large companies).

I agree with that perspective. Not that I think Moneybookers are not a solid company, but PayPal outnumbers and outplays MB on every corner. It proves once again that first-movers usually dominate industries. :)

We offer both services, only because we've had a couple people request moneybookers. Our clients that use moneybookers are just fine, though we feel more comfortable with paypal due to their reputation.

One tough thing about paypal: they charge alot on the transaction fees.

My vote definately went out for PayPal. From everything i have seen all across the internet PayPal is accepted much more than anything else. PayPal also seems more secure and more likely to continue growing than any of the other systems.

Another great feature in PayPal is the new "Secure Card" feature, where you can have PayPal generate a Mastercard number for you to use temporarily. You can set a maximum amount or a maximum time. Making it great for use where PayPal isnt accepted!

Paypal is always the first choice of most people. But when Paypal cannot transfer funds then Moneybookers could be very useful because MB have more territories to cover that PP don't.

I have tried both payment processor and Paypal still is better than Moneybookers.

My vote would be for Paypal mostly because of recognition and the fact that most people already have an account. Monybookers is a suitable alternative however since somce countries still cannot use Paypal. I rather dislike Paypal in many ways and would rather not use it at all if not for the ease of payments in both directions. They do not back up all disputes and still allow people to get away with fraudulent doings.

Seems like a pretty easy answer on this one, Paypal all the way. It has name recognition and people trust the name. Although, I like the suggestions of a couple others, why not use both?

I totally live by PayPal. To me, it's a trusted bank at this point and I freely use my PayPal Debit Card just like regular cash.

I am also fond of Paypal, the only problem that in some countries it is not possible to send the money you have on your Paypal account to your credit card, you can only use your paypal account for making some payments in the Internet or bying something at Ebay.

But I hope they will improve all their drawbacks soon :)

PayPal all the way! As a Canadian, it is much easier to use and less hassle on withdrawl options. We tried to signup for a MoneyBookers account before and half way through the process figured it wouldn't work out for us. I think it was to reason had to do with an affiliate program that paid out with MoneyBookers or US bank transfer only.
