PaintBall.net - Current bid $20,000

This domain might be very valuable. Over the years I have received offers from individuals and companies who wanted to pay many thousands of dollars for my www.paintball.net domain. A few years ago, the owner of www.paintball.COM domain received an offer of $1 million from a large paintball distributor who wanted to buy that .com domain. Obviously, this .NET domain is not worth anything like a .com, but it is certainly worth something!

This is probably the only time you will ever have a chance to buy this domain. Think about how little you would have paid for these domains five years ago, and what they are worth today. Think about what this domain will be worth in the future.

Are people kidding?? 39 bids? 20Gs?? for PaintBall.net? :tired:

I would not take it if HE paid me..

Why people continue to think that domain name business is still good business and that it'll bring good ROI?

^^ That's crazy... :smilie3:

Take a look at this:

business.com -- sold for $7.5 million
asseenontv.com -- sold for $5 million
altavista.com -- sold for $3.3 million
loans.com --- sold for $3 million
autos.com -- sold for $2.2 million
wallstreet.com -- sold for $1.03 million
forsalebyowner.com -- sold for $835,000
drugs.com -- sold for $825,000
cinema.com -- sold for $700,000
art.com -- sold for $450,000
engineering.org -- sold for $199,000
fruits.com -- sold for $160,000
perfect.com -- sold for $94,000

wallstreet, cinema, art, drugs, loans are well worth it though. Its a classic!

I just can't imagine what kind of traffic these guys should be getting..

Yeah, it's totally insane how much these domains sell for.

Plus even no special domains are selling for prices around a few thousand. It's totally crazy, domains should not be re-sold for more, they should be re-sold for less or at least the same price you buy it at!

I'd never buy a domain for thousands of dollars, let alone millions!

<< The domain was sold for $45,100.00 >>

Whoa, that's a lot - and it's merely a domain name!!

<< Admittedly paintball is a big market in the U.S.A. :agree: >>

Yeah I know. Whenever I see like an American film or cartoon occasionally - then it near to always includes paint ball.
