Yes these big companies probably do gain a massive number of new clients every month. Lets face it, you type in Web Hosting to Google, it's very unlikely that our smaller companies will show up. But, I'm sure their cancellation rate will be quite high too. And I do believe it's companies like them who make forums like this popular with people looking for hosting who have been made upset by the big companies for one reason or another.

this is true, large companies tend to treat clients as just a number and $£ in their bank, while smaller companies tend to treat clients as people/friends which gets more respect from clients at the end of the day.
 
That is just a bold claim. BlueHost is up there, but not that up there. You guys do know that you can pay agencies to create a press release for you. Its sort of a hidden advertising technique.

Not understanding at all where your coming from, what is a bold claim?

If you mean the 20k signups per month well, it seems quite accurate if you take a little look into the employment growth at Bluehost among other things.
