Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm looking for ecommerce
web hosting ... low cost and OK connectivity. I need a web host that
will give me URL's of some of their clients web sites with pages that
will load about the same amount of images and text that I will ...
about a dozen Jpeg images. I need to be able to add all pics and text
myself online and edit myself whenever necessary. Ideally, I would
have as many images as possible on a page. I need the web host to
tell me how many images I'd be able to fit into a page of shopping
cart they supply? I will start with about 150 items in the shopping
cart and that amount will increase. I'd want to be able to move my
domain to another host if it doesn't work out ... without cost or
penalty. Right now I don't take credit cards off line, but will
eventually do so online ... was thinking of starting with paypal and
within a few weeks have the credit card company figured out.
I work full time as an account sales rep and on nights and weekends
sell my products roadside ... I have truckload sales. I sell wood
carvings and hand painted bed spreads, with a few other items. The 45
hours I work at my regular job doesn't leave a lot of time for the way
I retail. The idea is to figure a way to make money by way of
ecommerce and get away from the truckload sale thing. I'll play
around with a first website and hopefully have several.
This gives an Idea of what I want and a little of what I'm doing. If
anyone could direct me to a web host that might work; then please do
so ... it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. My email: furdesign@aol.com
