can someone tell me what mysqld and php is? and what do you mean when you're talking about "code"? is there a difference between htm and html? ive seen both..

HTM and HTML are just different file extensions for the same type of file: an HTML file. "HTM" comes from the ancient days when Windows servers could only work with 8.3 file extensions, so the .html file extension got shortened.

"Code" depends on the context. Sometimes, it can be the lines of programming code that make up a script. Sometimes, it's the page source you see when you view the source of a web page. Sometimes it's both
