Meta applied for .SUPERINTELLIGENCE in the 2026 ICANN round. The proposed generic extension is still under review, while .SI is already available and has gained a new association with superintelligence.
For hosting providers, the question is what a real customer would choose. A short .SI may be memorable, but not everyone will understand the abbreviation. A full-word extension is clearer but much longer.
