[MERGED] Problems with HostingRefuge

Hehe Max, the other thread was closed so merging also closedthis thread.
Opened it again ;)

A new OS was also installed on the new server (FreeBSd from RH9)

This is a problem with vb and not the server, I have DR on the server and that db was fine, just got the whole site back up yesterday.
 
John try re uploading the the files that are required to disply the forums. like showforum.php / showthread.php / and the admin panel ones for it. Then CHMOD them to make sure they have the permissions. IF that doesn't work I suggest moving the MSYQL data to another table and changing it in the config.php file for VB. That might fix the problem also.

Nothing wrong with the files, I'm sure, as they display all the other ones fine
 
There were no coding problems.

John just restored the forums table in the database and the missing category along with the forums re-appeared.

It took a while because he was having problems with phpmyadmin.
