Merchant Account?

I haven't always been active with my PaySystems merchant account, that is why when they went down I didn't really lose anything. However, now that PaySystems is "gone", where do people move their business?

I decided to go with a more trusted solution, been looking around, found Wells Fargo (http://wellsfargosecure.com/IMA_Summary_Pricing.asp )to be a solid company (from a recommendation), but was wondering if there are any other recommendations and ideas flying around. I would like to stay away from companies like 2CO.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, for one, I don't use Quickbooks, so that eliminates a chance to get that account. And I'm not looking for the cheapest solution on earth. I'm looking for a merchant partner that is not going to go out of business. ;)

Btw, why is it so unfairly priced for already loyal customers - I called my own bank and they are really insane on pricing.

Best,

I'm in the same boat as you. I read a post somewhere about paysystems and the same day I had someone try and pay that way. I wondered why the emails had stopped coming from 'paysystems'? :o

I looked into wellsfargo, but dont want to pay their prices (monthly fee, whether you process or not). PSI didn't list prices. There is paymentech thru the retail council or canada or cfib.com. They offer lower rates, but they have to e swiped. Think I'll go with 2co. I use paypal and email payments for Canadian clients now.

A no one resells psigateway, just recommends them.

Good luck, country, with 2co. So many horror stories, I better be without merchant. You are on your own.

surprisingly, i did ok with 2co. I input my bank info (actually request check payment). and a week later had a check cut for my payments. I requested a refund for the setup fee. because we don't want to use the service. thats one thing we are still waiting on.

Well, just to update you all, I'm down to the following three: PSIGate, WorldPay or Wells Fargo.

No I haven't heard about them before, I will take a look. Thank you.

EDIT: Looks like they are extremely limited on the countries they accept payments from.

No decision yet. I found InternetSecure and WorldPay to be just unreasonably expensive. So I'm down to PSIGate and Wells Fargo, unless I find anything else.

try Authorize.net but you need to have a good credit history :thankyou:
I use Authorize.net over a year and few month a go add Paypal and I look over reports 73% of people use PayPal.
