poor_king : The only host I know that offers anything in that region is Globat. However it is calculated daily and not monthly. Most hosts who offer anything in that range of product rely on their customers not using their cap daily, hence why they make their money.

should not go with a host offering bandwidth at a rate over 40 cent per GB, industry standards...

40 what? cents?

Because if you did mean 40 cents, I think you're mistaken if you're referring to the standard quality rate.

what would you say is the standard quality rate.... but now if we start this there are many types of bandwidth from cogent bandwidth to level 3

Yes but I did say "quality" not cheap.

I would say that the general standard would be $1.00. Slightly lower is fine of course, but too low, and then you're taking un-needed chances.

Just remember, that price is not the only factor of choosing a host, and the higher the quality of the bandwidth, the higher the rate will be.

It all comes down to...settling for the lowest price, or paying for quality...or in better terms..it comes down to how much you care about your website.

thanx 4 all

what about
5 Gb storage
300 Gb bandwidth monthly

tell me your offers guys

"the web site will be for mobile( songs and software)"

Now you may be looking for a VPS with 300 GB transfer. Do you really need all that? I don't know many sites that need all that much. Try to make some money from your site through ad-revenue and use that to pay for a VPS.

would u please explain to me
the meaning of " VPS "

i think it's sutaible for me... before i know it's meaning  lool

Thank you :)

VPS stands for Virtual Private Server. Basically, it is one dedicated server split up into sections by software. Virtuozzo, manufactured by SWsoft is a popular software that can accomplish this. A VPS is one step below a dedicated server, but you gain root access to your section and it functions as if it were a dedicated server.

Are you still looking for shared hosting or are you looking to try a VPS? VPS's usually aren't too much more expensive than a shared account, and its possible that they may be less

ummm i didn't understand the concept of vps
but if it will be the solution for enugh bandwidth it's ok
i'll go with vps

who can help me now ? :)

I'll give you a basic comparison and hopefully this will clear up the confusion. With a shared account, many websites are hosted. There is no seperation between the accounts and no account can control the server. However, with a VPS, it is split up into sections, and each VPS is independent from other VPSs on the server. Each VPS has its own processes and functions like a dedicated server--it can host websites and do whatever a dedicated server can do.

Does this clear it up?
