Live Help? What do you use??

Using LiveResponse by Kayako Was one of the few that could do a lease license rather than $500 one time. Just wasn't willing to throw in that kinda money incase I down the road don't like it or go to a custom solution.

CraftSyntaxLiveHelp is what I have been using for quite some time now. It is a free chat script, but does everything that the other ones do, and then some! The only downside to it is the "Powered By" link under the "Online" image. People tend to think that if you use free software your just cheap, but I use it because I am comfortable with it and it does all I need it to do!

I'm currently using Bold Chat, it wasn't cheap either lets just say that. I never released how much it cost to add extra operators!

Well I like the software, it's easy to use & friendly looking. Also my clients seem to like the 'feature' and I think that's what counts!

I used to use Crafty Syntax, honestly, I didn't like the design of it. I wanted something more stylish to put on my website. I was looking around and found a link to ChatStat, what really grabbed my attention is it is not only free for the basic version, but, is a standalone messenger, you can log into MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, ICQ, and a few more from the ChatStat messenger. The free version even logs the chats for you that are on the messengers as well as your website chat.

Cerberus Live help (from the Cerberus Helpdesk people - www.webgroupmedia.com). It's no longer available retail, and it's a fairly basic system, but I like it :) They have plans to come out with a new version sometime in the future, so I'd keep an eye on it if you don't mind spending a bit of cash for a good stable system and great support.

We use Kayako, great program but we only like the live chat function since clientexec have a support ticket system built in.

I also use Crafty Syntax. I agree with Hypnotique, their default design may need some improvement. But I like their pop-up layer feature that enables you to invite online visitors for a real-time chat. You can easily customize its online/offline button and add your logo/ website name so you would have your chat box some amount of branding, which is very important.
