i agree, for small site no doubt it's good but never forget : all "unlimited" hosts have a strict CPU limit.

Most big companies are good and doing well otherwise they will not be where they are right now. But I hear they only offer Linux hosting. What platform are you looking for?

I think HostGator is excellent if you are going to be hosting a small business or personal website. If you are going to have a website with high amounts of traffic 200+ people at a time; I wouldn't recommend using HostGator.

I wouldn't recommend using HostGator.

Or just about any shared hosting solution costing <$10. In terms of computing power, you get what you pay for.
