I have heard that majority of the people use hostgator as their host and i looked at their pricing and its looks very good and reasonable aswell.

Hostgator website: http://www.hostgator.com

I want to know how hostgator is, and how has your experience been with them?

I hope to get some good replies so i can purchase hostgator hosting.

Thanks.

I am using hostgator now and i am satisfy with them.
you can use the coupon where it only costs $0.01 for the first month.

HostGator is good but the resources mentioned on the site, you will never able to use, they oversell as everyone doing nowadays.

I would suggest you to be clear on the ToS and CPU/RAM limit as these may be the factors before you may need a move.

I prefer not to deal with any large, companies even if they seem to be the best. I do not want to get oversold.

I would recommend you ***********.com instead. This is who I trust my data.

Hello!
I have seen tons positive reviews on them. As far as I know they are the biggest. But if you doubt about prices - go to other providers and see if the prices are different, just compare with other big boys like webhostgiant.com, lunarpages.com and dreamhost.comand you will understand how honest their prices are.
Good luck

I've used hostgator and never had a problem

I think it depends on what you're going to be using your account for. If you have fairly simple needs, (ie. nothing unusual or especially sensitive, nothing too large, no scripts that burn a lot of CPU, etc) then Hostgator is probably going to be great for you. If you are going to have special needs, then I would recommend going with another host that probably will be a little more expensive but isn't going to oversell, and will be able to work with you more to do what you need to do. I have heard good things about ***********, but I haven't used them myself.

Hostgator is a famous hosting provider. I'm not sure abt the support due to I'm not the client for hostgator.

If you would look for other hosting package, you may check out with other hosting provider.

i used hostgator for one year until a friend recommented me thinkhost. I believe is much better

I'm new at this, but I'm using netfirms, who are written up in some of the major business papers, and so far I'm very pleased with everything, including support.
