Is address needed to be added in the hosting site

I agree, although some new clients don't specifically look for a physical address on the website, it does add to the trust factor that's crucial in any business, as well as credibility.

There is an argument for not providing your data centre address on your website for security reasons, as long as you provide it when a customer asks - but you have to suss out if the client is genuine. Also, they may need to send you hardware, drives, servers etc. and techs if you are colocating with access

Addition in the hosting site

Hi,

No. Only phone number is not enough to buy or contact. You must be providing your address to the hosting site also.

If you want to seem like a legit and trustworthy company its a good idea to at least have a physical address, it could be the office, your own or using a mail forwarding service. A company phone number is no bad idea either!

It is extremely important to display all the contact information for the convenience of the customers/visitors; this includes phone number, email id and address.

It really goes without saying, if you want to be professional you should probably act professional - most customers will be more comfortable about purchasing from you if you can who you're reputable.

Keep in mind, and you should seek legal advice on this, though in some countries there are regulations that are in place which state you must display certain information about your business on your website.

For e.g. if you're incorporate in the UK, you must display your incorporation details on your website, and similarly in Australia, if you're registered for goods and services tax, you must display you're ABN / Australian Business Number on your website.

It is essential for every web hosting company to include the address on their website. This will ensure that the company is real and is not a fly by night one.
