Internet research?

Hello guys, sorry I haven't been around much lately....
I have a question for you all....Have any of you ever done internet research for money? I know one guy who does but he lives somewhere weird where most people don't have the net.
Do you think there is still a big enough market to make money from doing internet research??

and what about things like search engine submission, do any of you get paid for that still???

I could not see someone paying someone else to do internet research, search engins like google, are just so easy to find information that anyone could do internet research.

spirit i definitely disagree with that, i know there is a market i just wanted to know how big, there are millions of people who don't know how to use the internet effectively.

Well...

The current market share for search is very low.
In the past the companies were offering money for running their browser, making some research or run some computing program.
