Inflation and hosting price?

As you know, the prices of goods tend to rise nowadays. One of the causes is inflation.
Will this also affect hosting service prices in the future?
What's your opinion?

I'm thinking it will affect hosting service pricing more then it currently is. Power costs keep going up for one. Not mentioning the current hardware costs. It will be like this for awhile and probably wont go back to the way it was.

Hello! I hope you are doing well.

Inflation has already impacted the hosting industry, and quite significantly. Due to constantly rising prices, hosting providers have already started increasing their rates, and if we talk about the internal operations of these companies, things get even more interesting. Of course, inflation has a massive impact, and unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it, especially with the rising cost of components. Goodness, NVMe and RAM have become so expensive—may God help us.

The rising inflation has already been increased server hardware (SSD & RAM) , power, and all licensing costs leading to higher hosting prices across the web hosting industry.

Yes, I think hosting prices will keep feeling pressure. But the way providers communicate the increase matters a lot. A clear and reasonable price adjustment is easier to accept than a sudden jump with no explanation.
In hosting, people are not only paying for space and bandwidth. They are paying for stability.

I’d expect hosting prices to rise too, as providers pay more for power, hardware, software licences and staff. Competition may slow increases, but some will raise renewal prices or reduce what’s included. Clear pricing matters more than a cheap introductory offer.
