The new gTLD discussions at ICANN87 in Bali put more naming options in front of registries and registrars. For hosts, there's also the question of what AI agents need to get a customer online.
New extensions could broaden the offer. Better APIs could connect domain selection, clear renewal pricing and DNS setup without sending the customer through several separate steps.
Which would improve your hosting service more: new AI-focused TLDs, or better domain APIs for customer onboarding?
