I need that domain

[gooooogle]

Man I am really bummed. There's a domain name available that would be perfect for me but I can't register it at the moment because I have nothing in my PayPal account and I'm certain someone will snatch it sooner or later.

[GordyMac]

Which domain? I'll help you out.

[gooooogle]

The domain is memorycard.cc

Anyone got any idea what these cc domains cost?

[Anjay]

I'm afraid you are not in luck.
CC domains are very, very expensive.

http://www.enom.com/
http://www.registerfly.com/
http://www.namecheap.com/ -> maybe?
http://www.cc.cc/ -> maybe?

There are quite a few. I think GoDaddy even does.
They are about $25 per year I think or maybe $32? 😕

[gooooogle]

No wonder no ones bought it yet. Everyone bought the cheep ones first.

[gooooogle]

Well then I'm just going to browse a couple of days longer. I see there are quite a few domains left under flashmemorycards and flashmemorycard.

[turnkey]

Alright, you owe me $17 for the domain. Send me your DNS nameservers.

[turnkey]

BTW, I get a discount on the godaddy system that's why I got it so cheap 🙂

Whoa.. very nice discount with them.. I take it they have a good system?

* Sorry for going off topic

[BlackStorm]

I have never got a .cc domain, normally would only go for .com/net/org
Glad you got the domain though, very nice of you to help out Robert

[BVSDaryl]

Indeed...very nice of you to help another HTer out 🙂

[turnkey]

I know Goooogle and I also know domains go very fast. Seems Goooogle has been missing in action 🙂 Hope the dog did not eat the broadband line again, lol 🙂

[gooooogle]

I'm still here. I've just spent the day stacking shelves in the food store to make money for my training club. It's something we do every year.

Thanks Turnkey. You do take PayPal right?

I should be able to get to a bank tomorrow. It will then take three days for the money to arrive in my paypal account. So you should certainly have the money by the end of the week. Hope thats OK.

[gooooogle]

The domain will probably be parked for a month. I need to make a web page thats good enough for others to see first.

[turnkey]

Gooogle, np. I will setup a user in godaddy tonight or tomorrow so you can manage that domain. Glad I was able to help you.

[gooooogle]

The domain now works great. Thanks Robert. The bank was closed today when I got home so I did not have a chance to put the money into my paypal account.

I'll try and get there tomorrow.
