We are all passionate about hosting, the internet or web related bits and things, that is why we are a part of this awesome community. But, what is your alternative passion?

For me, it's Audio. I am a trained audio engineer and I work (freely of course) for our local church as their audio engineer. Recently, the pastor approached me to mix and master a CD of our praise and worship band. I love all aspects of audio from pre and post production, to live mixing, editing and everything in between. I even enjoy things like setting up the gear, microphone placement and sound testing. Aside from that, I love radio too and would have liked to be involved in commercial radio. I had a few interviews for local FM stations over the years, but I could never quite get my foot in the door.

Anyway, that is my alternative. What is yours?
 
For me, its Football and Marketing :agree:

I'm a huge football junkie watching matches for the last 18 years and involved with betting for the last 3-4. It has not only supported my passion but provided nice side income :rolleyes2

Marketing is more of a professional interest. Since my high school education I`ve been into Economics and when I reached the university it was time to choose a more specific part of it. Marketing just came natural, with my interest in Psychology and I decided a long time ago that this is what I wanted to do :)
 
For me it would be guitar playing, singing and writing that is a big thing for me!

Wrote a few songs just got to get them all finished up and online!
 
For me it's Art/Drawing.. I love to draw and paint, and have done so since I was very young. :) I really got into comic and graffitti art while in my teens.
 
My passions are my wife, family, home and pets followed by anything Hawaiian, martial arts or aviation.
@Juan - I also love comics. Do you have any samples of your work?
 
My passions encompass some tangible and strange things. I do love to read books, both in PDF and print formats. I also pursue the latest tips and pieces of news about tablets, the most recent versions of smartphone software programs, the best-selling models, etc. I am going to start reading some history books, especially the ones about the global events, written by professional authors.

As said, sometimes I get hung up on issues like UFOs, and other strange, sometimes funny, things. When you search the net, you will find tons of real videos about those flying things, and they will keep you busy and wake for a long time. Writing too is still another thing I love, acting like a busy freelance as you may wish to call.
 
I love to travel. I'm originally from Spain but I live in the US, so I love going back to Europe.

It's kind of nerdy but I really love optimizing things for efficiency. Basically I love the four hour workweek and take it very seriously.

Also have a passion for good coffee. When I was in CR, I picked up some great different beans and have since become obsessed.

Traveling would be fun. I haven't had a serious opportunity to travel the world. Maybe one day ;)

Make time for yourself to travel :)

It's such a rewarding experience! Remember that there will never be a perfect time or place or series of events for you to travel.
 
Unfortunately I did not study there. I hope to someday. Our style was brought over by Sensei Phillip Koeppel. I train with him and several of the Sensei's under him.

I've also trained in Kobayashi Shorin-Ryu
 
What do you like best about your training? Are you working with any weapons? I used to work out six days a week for approximately four hours each night - kata, heavy bag, sparring - I was constantly bruised up. :)
