How to Edit a thread

Most forums have a limitation as to how much time after posting you can edit your thread/comments. This is in place so you don't just edit out information when you wish and possibly mislead other users. I believe the standard in most places is 15 minutes after the post. After that, the button disappears.

If you don't see an Edit button under your post, chances are that time has passed. So what you need to do is to hit the Report Post button (on top of the post/thread) and explain why you need to edit the post. The moderators will probably take a little time to check it out and if all is ok - they will edit it for you.

Hope that helps :rolleyes2

Hi,
I have not been able to find a way to edit older thread. Is there a way to it.

Members are limited to 10 minutes to edit a title of their thread and 30 minutes to edit their post. If you want your post edited for a mistake, feel free to use the Report Post feature on your post and mention what needs to be corrected.

There is a mistake effecting business process at 2 companies, which need correction Details are that while offering services of 247-host at following urls, another company namely unique-links dot com .pk was also linked in same offer erroneously i.e 2 companies have been mentioned in the same offer out of which the offered service belongs to 247-host. So I need to remove reference to unique links do com.pk from the following URLs.

So admin / moderators are requested for needful.
