how to bring more visitor to a site?

As you may have hundreds of competition if you advertise your webhosting services online, you may want to do a little off line advertising.

If you decide to compete online, you can really have something different to offer for your customers. For instance offer them a free service like customizing their websites (from web templates) for them. Strengthen your web presence by submitting to article directories, forums, and web directories. A SEO-optimized site would also help.

Add link to your site as signature’s on high quality forums with quality posts.
Give comments on high quality blogs with links.
Register yourself as a member on social networking sites and improve your network by taking active parting it.

These steps will be very beneficial for you in pulling a good number of visitors to the site as well as getting backlinks also.

Making your own company sometimes is not that easy. The most difficult thing is advertise your website correctly without brake any rule. Make sure you google some forums first that allow you to post your link, then make sure you have some good banners or website description where people can understand why your company is better than the others. Try to digg some good articles pointing to your company. Also you can use StumbleUpon as some help.

(1)Advertising your products or service
(2)Selling your products or service.
(3)Providing customer service and product support
(4)Providing corporate information
(5)Creating company identity or brand awareness

We did a test run with Adwords using a £30 voucher. It does help with traffic but its mainly bots and before you know it £30 turns to £0

£30 is nothing I'm afraid. It would be very difficult to run any conclusive tests with that amount.

I keep getting them sent to us so I thought I had better put one to use.

I have at least 5... Shame i cant offer them to my clients

Getting the first set of clients is the most important thing in any business and Hosting business is not an exemption from that. Try try try and never give up. The best idea is going for adwords from google, but you need money for that. If you have enough money go for that. Or else there are number of social networking sites and there are also number of forums, completely dedicated for hosting, go and buy a signature in that.

there are many ways to promote a website. one of course as some body mentioned adwords or publisher. another is called SEO/SEM "search engine optimization" or search engine marketing if you're living in UK. what the heck is SEO or SEM. It is a method to help you to rank your site higher naturally in major search engines such as google or yahoo. Well, generally SEO is expensive but imagine adwords, in hosting indusries, at least $4-$5 a click. if $100 can only gets you 20 click. So I definitely thinks SEO is the way to go. Like my website, 18AffordableWebHosting.com, I've got about a week to listed in google but generally it may takes 10 weeks in the process. what i did was some SEO methods or techniques. therefore if you guys need to know more. I've got a great ebook about SEO written by some top internet marketer Brad Callen and certainly it costs some money and it generally tells you how to rank a website higher in search engines.

Do some best

From my experience the easiest way to advertise a hosting service is from forums and other websites. If you commonly post on large forums and show what you can provide people are much more likely to sign up. Just getting your name out is a good start, and as you get more customers it is likely that they will draw even more people. Getting those first few people is crucial, and also happens to be the most difficult part.

There are so many option for advertising but which one is the right one? The answer is there is no right one. Its a game of trial and error to get the best results. While banner ads might work great for one company it might not for the next.

In my opinion there is only one advertising method that is full proof and that is word of mouth. Now that is if you have a good reputation. Word of mouth is free and if you got your customers commenting your service to others it is priceless. But remember it can also work the other way around and that can be the killing point of a company.

I have used everything from adwords, banners, affiliate program, and forum posting. I found that it depends on many factors on what is going to work best for you. We use many different methods of the above and sometimes the return is good, other times it is not. It will always be an ongoing strategy that you will have to adjust on and on.
